Brianne Nicole Berry, age 40, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord her Savior on Thursday, January 1, 2026, after a brief illness.
Brianne was born in 1985 into the loving home of her parents Larry and Connie.
She graduated in 2003 from Unicoi County High School. She then obtained certifications from Northeast State Community College in both EMT, Phlebotomy, and Clinical Medical Assisting. She loved working with her patients.
Brianne loved animals. Her love for her pets Ziggy, Drew, and Lucy Lou was especially close. She was very crafty and creative and loved to use Duct Tape. She could fix just about anything.
Brianne was saved and baptized and a member of University Parkway Baptist Church. Along with her love for the Lord and her church, she loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.
Those preceding her in death include: her father, Larry W. Berry; her stepfather, Fred D. Lewis; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Those remaining to cherish her memory include: her mother, Connie L. Lewis; siblings, Monica B. Morris, Andy Harrell (Kristi), J.R. Harrell (Season Nye), Sara Malone, Amy Engle (Daniel); nieces and nephews, Emily Morris, Bryson Berry, Alex Cooper, Ty Engle, Kyndal Engle, Max Malone, and Molly Malone; special aunts and uncles, Barbara Harris and family in Marietta, Georgia, Ronnie and Joann Baucom, and Fredna Ollis; a special cousin, Alex Baucom; and numerous beloved friends, all of whom she loved very much!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help assist in the cost of the funeral services, or to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00pm till 7:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the Dogwood Chapel at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm. Elders Larry Hatfield and Calvin Hoyle will officiate the service. Special music provided by Donnette Hahn and Sam and Sarah Elrod.
A committal service is scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery.
