Carole Lee Burchfield Parker, 87, of Johnson City, was born on September 26, 1937, in Johnson City, TN, and passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Carole was the International Secretary and Administrative Assistant for the United Textile Workers of America, AFL-CIO, for over (30) years. After retirement, she worked for the Johnson City Eye Clinic for several years. Carole was a member of University Parkway Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

She was the daughter of the late Carl and June Burchfield. Along with her parents, Carole is predeceased by: her husband, Harry F. Parker Sr. and her only sibling, sister Linda (Roger) Cox. She will be buried between her father and husband.

Those left to remember the many happy times include: son, Harry Jr. (Janet); daughter, Robin (Tim); son, Carroll “Tuffy” (Deborah); grandchildren, Jadee (Logan), Jason (Sarah), Adam (Laura), Jamey, and Connor; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Derion, Arlie, Levi, Elie, Blakley, James, and Jayla.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to University Parkway Baptist Church, 219 University Parkway, Johnson City, TN 37604.

A graveside service for Carole is scheduled for 12:00 pm Monday May 5, 2025, at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Scott Thompson will officiate the service. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 11:50 am.

Pallbearers include: Tim Abel, Tuffy Parker, Adam Parker, Conner Parker, Muggy Parker, Jason Humphrey, and Jamey Rudolph.
