Carolyn Neta Bible

Carolyn S. Bible, 76, of Johnson City, died Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Isaac N. and Alice McBroome Shanks. Carolyn was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church. She was an accomplished pianist, good cook, loving mother, wife and grandmother. Survivors include: her husband, Roy L. Bible of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Sharon Evans of Johnson City; two daughters, Kathy Lee and Cindy Cuddy both of the home; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Roselawn Memory Gardens, under the direction of Rev. James Cambron. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 pm. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Memorial and Honor Program, P.O.Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
