Catherine Stanley

Catherine Goodman Stanley, died Saturday, June 12, 2005 at the Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Service following an illness. She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles H. Goodman, Sr. and Maude Kirchdofer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kevin McCrary; a brother, David Byrd; and a sister, Judy Kordick. Survivors include: a son, Robert Stanley of Church Hill; two daughters, Barbara McCrary of North Carolina and Cathy Bomba of Virginia; four grandchildren, Melissa Phillips, Robert Stanley, Jr. and wife Andrea, Mike Bomba and Alex Bomba; three sisters, Betty Jean Matthews, Kentucky, Patricia Weekley, Washington and Polly Townsley of Nevada; a brother, C. H. Goodman of Florida; there are five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 14, 2005 in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of services at eight. A committal service will be held in the Monte Vista Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. The family would like to extend special thanks to Doreen and David McCoy, very special caregivers.
