Charles Jay Murabito, Jr., 64, of Johnson City, TN passed away August 15, 2009 at the V. A. Hospital at Mt. Home. He was a native of Oswego, NY and a son of the late Charles Jay Murabito, Sr. and Mary Louise Lavere Murabito.Mr. Murabito was a self employed contractor and attended St. Marys Catholic Church.Mr. Murabito was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars.Survivors include;his wife, Brenda; seven children, Deborah L. Jarrett, Chesapeake,VA, Sandra M Murabito, Virginia Beach, VA, Karen L .Culpepper, South Hill, VA,Toni R. Carson, Chesapeake,VA, Jason M. Murabito, Johnson City, TN, Jay C. Murabito, New Iberia, Louisiana and Justin M. Murabito, of Johnson City; one sister, Barbara Ayers, Oswego, NY; one brother, Ronald Murabito and his wife Peggy of Jackson,TN; the Mother of his sons, Kathy Murabito, Johnson City; Friends, Bobby Carr and Rick Brown both of Johnson City; 14 Grandchildren 1 great Grandson and 4 nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from Mt. Home National Cemetery. A V. A. Chaplin will officiate. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday.
