Charles L. Wallace

Charles L. Wallace, age 83, of Johnson City, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and life long resident of Johnson City and a son of the late O. H. and Maude Clara Ketron Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a member of First United Methodist Church, Johnson City. He was an Air Force veteran, and an active member of the Civitan Club for over forty years. Mr. Wallace retired from a career teaching mechanical drawing at Science Hill High School. Survivors include: one brother, Denver Wallace, Boxford, MA; two nieces, Kathy W. Wallace, Boxford, MA, and Jennifer Schilling, Livingston, NJ; two grand-nephews, Craig Wallace, Boxford, MA, and Jacob Schilling, Livingston, NJ; and three great-nieces, Allison Wallace, Boxford, MA, and Noelle and Audrey Schilling, Livingston, NJ. The family of Charles L. Wallace will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Morris-Baker. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Monte Vista Memorial Park for 3:00 PM graveside services. Rev. Garland Thayer will officiate.
