Charles O. Ketcherside

Charles O. Ketcherside, 88, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Ketcherside was a native of Chloride, MO and had lived in Johnson City for several years. He was a son of the late Howzie and Myrtle Reed Ketcherside. One son, Michael Ketcherside, preceded Mr. Ketcherside in death. He was a retired restaurant owner. Mr. Ketcherside was a US Army WWII and Korean War veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Rita Sneed and her husband, Bob, Brentwood, TN and Sandra Ketcherside, Dallas, TX; one brother, James Ketcherside, Farmington, MO; one granddaughter, Talishia Ketcherside, Kingsport; one grandson, Wayne Ketcherside, Johnson City and his former wife, Sue Ketcherside, Johnson City. Military Honors graveside services, under the direction of Kingsport VFW Post #3382, for Mr. Ketcherside will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
