Charles Red Slagle

Charles 'Red'? Slagle, age 64, of Johnson City, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, TN, and a son of the late Ruth Garland and Harry Thurman Slagle. Mr. Slagle was employed as a baker with Rainbo Bakery, and was a proud member of the Confectionary Workers of America. Survivors include: his wife, Peggy Dugger Slagle, of the home; two daughters, Donna Slagle, of Chuckey, TN, and Lisa G. Johnson, and her husband, Bill, of Limestone, TN; one son, Charles 'Bo' Slagle, and his wife, Megan, of Elizabethton, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda and Carrie Johnson, both of Limestone, TN, David Mitchell, of Chuckey, TN, and Hunter and Lilly Slagle, both of Elizabethton, TN; Great Grandchild, Eli Joe Silvers, of Limestone, TN; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, 'Tater' Slagle.
