Charlotte Maxine Litle

Mrs. Charlotte Maxine Litle, 78, 204 Grandeur Drive, Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in the Hillcrest Healthcare South in Knoxville. Mrs. Litle was a native of Washington County and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Fred Clifton Bogart and Leora Peterson Bogart. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Litle; one daughter, Claudia Anne Litle; one brother, James Bogart. Mrs. Litle retired from Baxter Healthcare after several years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. She was adored by her grandchildren and was best known as 'Nanna'? to kids of all ages. Survivors include: three daughters, Etta Lea Williams and her husband Thomas B. of Knoxville, Freda Danelle Perry and her husband Thomas L. of Johnson City and Amy Fox and her husband Royce of Chuckey; one son, Danial Edward Litle of Johnson City; one sister, Colleen Heaton of Johnson City; two brothers, Jerry Bogart of Utah and Fredie Bogart and his wife Mindy of Southport, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Angela Dawn Hawkins and her husband Dave of Knoxville, Thomas Boone Williams of Maryville, Tn., Christopher Stephen Williams and his wife Allison of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ariel Michelle Perry of Johnson City, Logan, Ashlin , Reilly and Brodie Fox all of Chuckey; five great grandchildren, Hunter Hawkins, Ian Hawkins, Addison Hawkins, Cory Williams and Jackson Williams. The funeral service for Mrs. Charlotte Maxine Litle will be conducted at 8 PM Saturday June 26, 2010 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Eric Heaton will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Onks Cemetery, Jonesborough. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM Sunday. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Dawn of Hope, 2216 Eddie Williams Road, Johnson City, Tn. 37601 or the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, Tn. 37601.
