Charlotte Ann Woody, 87, passed away on August 18, 2026. She was born in Hanover, PA, daughter of John L. Slagle and Madeline M. Parr. She is survived by her daughter Robin Yost and husband Hank Yost of Nolensville, TN, granddaughter Heather Yost of Smyrna, TN, grandsons Michael Woody of Cuming, GA, David Woody and wife Shannon Woody of Acworth, GA and daughter-in-law Donna Woody of Cumming, GA, sister-in-law Margaret Dugger and husband Willard Dugger of Johnson City, TN, nephews Charles Woody and family of Maryville, TN, and Brian Woody of Sevierville, TN and grandnephew Ian Jackson and family of Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Woody and son Robert B. Woody II.

Charlotte graduated from Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA. She attended Northeast State Community College and received a certificate in Administrative Professional Technology.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City, TN. She served on the Altar Guild, was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and prepared and served many meals at The Melting Pot in Johnson City.

She was employed by the Sullivan County Purchasing Department, Blountville, TN for twenty-two years and retired in 2000 as Assistant Purchasing Agent.

She served on the Board of Directors at the Villas at Browns Mill and was on The Social & Welcoming Committee.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, August 29, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City, TN with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church memorial fund.
