Christie S. Coggins

Christie S. Coggins, 37, 1308 E. Lynnwood Circle, Johnson City died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Johnson City. Miss Coggins is a daughter of the late Bobby Crowe and Janice Coggins Woodby of Johnson City. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She had attended the Church of God and had worked in fast food restaurants. Christie is preceded in death by: her father; and her Maternal Grandfather, Jack Coggins. Survivors other then her mother include: her Grandmother, Della Coggins with whom Christie made her home; two sons, Christopher Miller in Atlanta, GA. and Aaron Coggins of Linden, TN;one brother Brian Coggins of Clifton, TN; two sisters, Katina Baird and Jessica Coggins, both of Johnson City; a Special Friend, David Bradley of Johnson City; cousins, Tommie Ann Scott of Virginia Beach, VA and Kimberly Cox Ferguson of Johnson City; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive. The funeral service for Christie S. Coggins will be conducted at 7 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Mr. Wesley Simons, Minister will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Friday in the Fairview Cemetery in Jonesborough. Active pallbearers will be selected. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 5 to 7 PM Thursday prior to the service.
