Christine Madelene Waldrop

Christine Madelene Waldrop, 58, of 431 Woodlyn Road, Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center.She was a native of Bristol, VA and a daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie Barnett Gardner.Mrs. Waldrop was self employed. Survivors include; her husband, David D. Waldrop; one son, David D. Waldrop, Jr of Johnson City. Three brothers, Charles, Albert and Delbert all of Elizabethton; five sisters, Alice Glass, Kitty Gayle Pierce, Katie Kiser, Vera Holtsclaw and Vada Gardner all of Elizabethton.Services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Monday, July 6, 2009 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday.
