Clarence Albert C. A. Cain

Clarence Albert 'C. A.' Cain, 64, of 103 Briarwood Drive, Gray, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2005, at his residence. He was a native of Johnson City and had lived all of his life in Washington County. Mr. Cain was a son of the late Calvin and Mary Butler Cain. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Iames. He was a member of Union Church of Christ. Mr. Cain retired as a Foreman for Eastman Chemical Company after 33 years of service. Survivors include; his wife, Janey Owens Cain; two daughters: Sherry Mott and her husband, Stan, of Telford and Robin Cain of Gray; two grandsons: Jake Cole and his wife, Amanda, of Gray and Stan Mott, Jr. of Fernandina Beach, Florida; one brother, Jim Cain and his wife, Charlotte, of Johnson City; one sister, Norma Attaway of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 PM Monday from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Mr. Lamar Garrison will officiate. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Snyder?s Memorial Gardens. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Tuesday and go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stan Mott, Jake Cole, Jeremy Draughn, Larry Schwartz, Claude Strickland and Fred Edens. Honorary pallbearers will be Kem Tilley and Stan Mott, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
