Claude Grover Elliott

Claude Grover Elliot, 68, Johnson City, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at NHC Healthcare. Mr. Elliot was a native of Erwin and had lived most of his life in this area. He was a son of the late Grover and Hazel Huskins Elliott and was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Saffold and Lorraine Fanning. Mr. Elliot was a retired painter. Survivors include two sisters, Janice Street, Unicoi and Mae Riddle, Erwin; two brothers, Jim Elliott and Gene Elliott both of Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Elliott will be interred in McInturff Cemetery in Erwin, TN at a later date.
