Clifford Mcallister

Clifford McAllister, 81, 148 Stepp Lane, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Mr. McAllister was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of the late Arthur and Ella Greer McAllister. His wife, Rhoda Lee Danner McAllister and several brothers and sisters preceded Mr. McAllister in death. He was a US Army WWII veteran. Mr. McAllister was a member of King Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Jeanie Sandefur and her husband, Johnny, Rogersville; one brother, Kenneth Lee McAllister and his wife, Melanie, Johnson City; one sister, Joann Hale, Dyer, TN; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mr. McAllister will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Reverend Gary Davis will officiate. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
