Daisy Branum

Ms. Daisy Branum, 92, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Appalachian Christian Village. Born in Amherst, VA, she lived in Johnson City most of her life. Daisy was the daughter of the late, Edward D. and Ada Johns Branum. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Barrett, and Obidiah, Branum and three sisters, Lora Ford, Lila Morrill, and Mary Lou Quillen. She is survived by her two daughters, Terry B. Gedeon and husband Marty and Theresa B. Murray, all of Johnson City; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister Ruby King of Sanford, Fl.. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and CNAs at Appalachian Christian Village for their kindness and loving care. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, from 1-2:00pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home with a grave side service immediately following, 2:15pm, at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Rev. Brandon Thomas officiating.
