Daniel Ray France ,Jr., 22, 131 FairRidge Road, Johnson City died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. France was a native and had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He is the son of Daniel Ray France, Sr. and Bonnie Jones France of the home. He was a graduate of Science Hill High School and was an Army veteran of the Third Infantry. Mr. France was a salesman with Northern Tools. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Mr. France is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gail and Doris Jones. Survivors other than his parents include: one daughter, Lauren France; two sisters, Candi France of Johnson City and Amanda France of the home; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Louise France of Johnson City; two nieces, Alanna France and A?Niya France, both of Johnson City; two nephews, Callon France and Elijah France, both of Johnson City; several aunts and uncles also survive. The funeral service for Daniel Ray France, Jr. will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, May 19, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel . Pastor Greg DePreist and Rev, John Perkins, will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 12:30 PM Saturday to go in procession. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Friday.
