Debbie Lisa Ethel Nelson

Debbie Lisa Ethel Nelson, 49, Johnson City, died March 5, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of Elmer and Pauline Nickles.

Debbie was a graduate of David Crockett High School and had worked as a CNA.

She was a member of McKinley Memorial Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson.

Survivors include: her son, Gregory Anderson Lee Nelson; two daughters, Jessica Marie Danielle Nelson and Dallas Paula Jane Nelson; brother, Timmy Nickles; sister, Melissa Nickles; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Debbie Nelson will be conducted 2:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2020, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Washington County Memory Gardens, Pastor Lenny Smith will officiate. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 1:50 pm Friday.
