Dorothy Good Roberts

Dorothy Good Roberts, 87, 3209 Bristol Highway, Johnson City died Thursday, December 08, 2005 at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City. Mrs. Roberts was a lifelong resident of Washington County, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Nancy Caroline Price Good. She retired in 1961 from Rolphe?s cafeteria and was a member of the Skyline Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her son John Ed Roberts; five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two brothers, Buford Good of Johnson City and Homer Good of Kernersville, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive as well as a special friend Barbara Curtis of Johnson City. The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Good Roberts will be conducted Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2 PM in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Kyker and Rev. Donald Page will officiate. Music will be provided by Faith Trio. A graveside service will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 12:30 PM to 2pm Saturday, just prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
