Dorothy Jeanne Caraway

Dorothy Jeanne Caraway, of Johnson City, died at the Johnson City Medical Center on March 21st, following a long illness. Jeanne was born in Johnson City in 1937. She was a long-term member of the Asbury-Agape family, in which she was known and loved for her cantankerous personality, spontaneous wit, and ready smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Edith Caraway; a sister, Frances Brown; and two brothers, Bob and Tip. She is survived by two brothers, James and Ken; and several nieces and nephews. A committal service will be held at the columbarium of First United Methodist Church of Mountain City at 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon, March 29th, 2015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 505 N. Roan St., Johnson City, TN 37601.
