Dorothy L. Clark, 77, 2719 South Roan Street, Johnson City died Friday, March 25, 2005 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Clark was a native of Roanoke, VA, had been a former resident of Illinois, and had resided in Johnson City for the several years. She was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Martha 'Mattie' Bean Mazza. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of the Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Watauga Valley Art League, the Peoria, IL Art Guild, the Chillicothe, IL Art League and known as 'Miss Minnie' in the Red Barn Band. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by: one son, David Clark; two grandsons, Jamie Clark and Brian Clark: one brother, Billy Mazza. Survivors include: her husband, Kenneth J. Clark, Sr. of the home; three sons, Kenneth J. Clark ,Jr. of Washington, IL, Drew Clark of Chillicothe, IL, and Robert Clark of Johnson City; one daughter, Roma Clark Walker of Chillicothe, IL; three sisters, Delores White of St. Petersburg, FL, Patsy Guess of Tampa, FL, and Elaine Pickering of Johnson City. Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several cousins also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy L. Clark will be conducted at 8 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Sarah Wells and Rev. Mack Houston will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 1:30 PM to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Family and Friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
