Dorothy Louise Warren, 75, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026, following an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Johnson City, Dorothy was born on November 10, 1950, to the late Robert and Frankie Richardson. She was a faithful, lifelong member of Keystone Free Will Baptist Church and found great joy in her faith, family, and serving others.
On August 7, 1969, Dorothy married the love of her life, Charlie Warren. Together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a servant’s heart and was a natural caregiver who found fulfillment in caring for those around her. She especially loved cooking for her family, gathering loved ones around the table, and cheering on her grandchildren as they participated in sports. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Warren; great-granddaughter, Haley Stines; infant brother, Ralph Richardson; and a very special friend.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Chuck Warren; daughter, Kimberly Ray and companion, Chris Copas; grandchildren, Andi Stines and husband, Danny Stines, Alex Ray, Alyssa Ray, and Aaron Ray; great-grandchildren, Chloe Stines and James Stines; sister, Lisa Booher and husband, Tim; nephew, Spencer Blackburn and wife, Brooke; niece, Franna Street and husband, Jacob; great-nephews, Kane and Cameron Blackburn; as well as several lifelong friends and extended family members.
Dorothy's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
