Earl Mclemore

August 3, 1929 — April 22, 2005

Earl McLemore, 75, 1018 Knob Creek Road, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. McLemore was a native of Unicoi County and had lived most of his life in Washington County. He was a son of the late Nathan McLemore and Minnie Honeycutt McLemore and was also preceded in death by four sisters, Norma McLemore, Pansy McLemore, Violet McLemore and Georgia Naff and two brothers, D.C. McLemore and Ralph McLemore. Mr. McLemore was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was a retired employee of the Johnson City Power Board. Mr. McLemore attended Clifton View Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Norma Denton McLemore, two sons, David McLemore and his wife, Brenda, Mountain City and Keith McLemore and his wife, Beth, Johnson City; one daughter, Patsy Hambrick and her husband, Garry, Jonesborough; two granddaughters, Lindsey Arrowood and Whitney Hambrick; one great granddaughter, Hannah Arrowood and one step granddaughter, Ashley Neil. A funeral service for Mr. McLemore will be conducted at 12:30 PM Tuesday from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Mike Lyons and Mr. Jim Branch will officiate. Burial will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Pallbearers will be Chris Arrowood, Robbie Stevens, Garry Hambrick, Jimmy Gentry, Clyde Stevens, Robie Phillipi and Morton Denton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
