Erik Allen Fair

Erik Allen Fair, 48, of 1008 North Boone Street, Johnson City, died July 30, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was a native of Lansing, Michigan, son of William Fair and the late Colleen Berger Fair. Erik was a Glazer in the glass business and was of the Christian faith. He had served in the U. S. Army. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Fair. Survivors including his father are: his wife, Glenda Banks Fair, of Johnson City; two sons, Phillip and Daniel Fair; three daughters, Sheila, Melissa and Michelle Fair; a sister, Kim Walker; three brothers, William, Dale and Mark Fair; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Home National Cemetery under the direction of a V.A. Chaplain. The family will receive friends at Morris '' Baker Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. when we will leave in procession to the cemetery.
