Esther Wise

Esther K. Wise, 85, of 903 Tulip Street, Johnson City died Thursday, at Asbury Place following an illness. Mrs. Wise was a native of Claypool, Indiana, daughter of the late A. Vere and Vera Blue Kelley. She was a registered nurse both in the Hospital setting and also private duty. Esther was the widow of Jack W. Wise and a member of the Grandview Christian Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Sylvia Wise, of Johnson City, and Jane-Anne (& Ted) Thomas, of Johnson City; a son, Rodney (& Marsha) Wise, of Coppell, Texas; four grandchildren, Todd (& Barbara), Terry (& Susan Jo), Robyn and Rachael; three great grandchildren, Adam, Caleb and Ashlyn. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, 2005 in the Appalachian Christian Village Tower Lobby at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Ted Thomas. The family will receive friends following the service.
