Eugene Fryer

September 25, 1931 — March 2, 2022

"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace." Acts 20:24

Eugene (Gene) Fryer, 90, of Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 2022. He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Raymond Fryer and Laura Hartley Fryer; his wife Charlene (Sherri); one daughter, Barbara Fryer; one brother, Raymond Fryer; and two sisters, Virginia Bolt and Nila Brunner.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: one brother, Ron Fryer; one son, Eric Fryer; one daughter, Stormie Gail Fryer; and several grandchildren.

Gene served in the Navy during the Korean War, and he spent his career as a salesman for Christian music publishers.
Gene attended several local churches including Grace Fellowship in Johnson City.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in the Historical section. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy. Pallbearers will be Russell Hensley, Ray Mettetal, John Seward, and Ted Thomas.
