Pauline Oliver

Evelyn Pauline Feathers Oliver, 94, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at NHC HealthCare Johnson City.

Pauline was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, on January 11, 1932, to the late Onlie Feathers and Verna Gobble Feathers.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Oliver, Sr.; her son, James Alfred Oliver, Jr., and his wife, Judy; and her brothers, Gordon Feathers and his wife, Irene, and Dean Feathers.

Those left to cherish Pauline’s memory include her brothers, Gene Feathers and his wife, Wilma, and Mike Feathers and his wife, Alice; her sister, Susie Feathers; her sister-in-law, Sherrell Feathers; and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a longtime member of Edgefield Methodist Church in Piney Flats. Her life was defined by her faith, her love for her family, and her kind and generous nature. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Pauline’s family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Edgefield Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. under the direction of Pastor Estel Williams and Pastor Mike Berry.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Edgefield Church Cemetery. Those attending are asked to please meet at the cemetery.
