Fayette Beulah Bell

December 4, 1938 — February 25, 2023

Fayette Beulah Bell, age 84, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Fayette was born December 4, 1938, in Mountain City, Tennessee, to the late Elbert Monroe Widby and Sally Vaught Widby. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1955. She married the love of her life, Marvin Earl Bell, in 1957. First and foremost, Fayette was a mother. She also worked as a seamstress for many years. She was deeply spiritual and will always be remembered for her kindness and humility.

Fayette was a faithful servant and member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2021, Marvin Bell and sons, James Monroe Buchanan and Marvin Earl Bell, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Winona (and Charles) Greene and Anthony Bell; grandchildren, Moses Greene, Aaron Greene, Miriam Greene, Devonna Morgan, Michael Bell, Olivia Bell, Kirstin Bell, Shayla Bell, Timothy Bell, and Rachel Lee; great-grandchildren, Hayden Morgan, Joshua Greene, Nolan Greene, London Taylor, and Samantha Taylor; brother, Earnest (and Maxine) Widby; sister, Evelyn Sue (and Larry) Nickles; nieces, Christina Scurry and Shelley Briscoe; and multiple great nieces and nephews.

The Bell family appreciates your love, support, and condolences; however, Mom’s wishes were to have a very small and intimate graveside service with select few family members and close Field Ministry Group friends, who would prefer to grieve in privacy. Please respect the families wishes during this difficult time. The family sincerely thanks you.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are directed to the family: Winona Greene, PO Box 1374, Elizabethton, TN 37644.
