Frances Colleen Shull, 80, 1303 West Lynwood Circle, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Shull was a Washington County native, a former resident of Asheville, NC and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Emory P. and Bertha Lawson Rose. Mrs. Shull was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Rose; one sister, Sylvia Carrigger and one daughter-in-law; Edna Kaye Shull. She was a former employee of Levi Strauss. Mrs. Shull was a member of Westerly Heights Baptist Church. She was survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Harry Shull; one daughter, Linda Starnes and her husband, Frank, Jonesville, VA; one granddaughter, Angela C. Starnes, Louisville, KY; one son, Ralph Shull, Gray; one grandson, C.J. Shull, Gray; two brothers, James Rose and his wife, Edna, Fredericksburg, VA and Robert Rose and his wife, Mildred, Johnson City; three sisters, Mary Sue Keebler, Gray, Susie Tilley, Johnson City and June Bullock, Fredericksburg, VA and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Shull will be conducted at 7:30 PM Monday, September 11, 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend H. Wayne Hunter and Reverend Lawrence Pack will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson City Medical Center Hospice, 1807 W. Market Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
