Frances Sulzberger, 84, of Johnson City died Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Hermitage Nursing Home, in Elizabethton. She was a native of Erwin, TN, daughter of the late Carmen Harvey and Pansy Higgins Deaton. Frances was a retired caregiver. She attended the First Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, her husband Leo Sulzberger (1980), three sisters, Linda, Lorraine and Betty Jo; four brothers, James P., Willard, Carmen and Billy Gene; a son-in-law Eddie Bryant, preceded her in death. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Delores Quesinberry and her husband Paul, Kathy Bryant all of Johnson City; two brothers, her twin, Frank and his wife Peggy Deaton of China Grove, NC, Bo and his wife Suzy Deaton of Johnson City; a sister, Yvonne and her husband Jerry Banner of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Monica Bryant, Jennifer Hollars, Lisa Rogers and Patrick Quesinberry; eight great grandchildren, Cayden, Cole, Kayleigh, Kaleb, Kameron, Austin, Hailey and Emma. Frances is to be inurned at the Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton, VA with her husband at a later date.
