Frank Edward Snodgrass, 72, of Johnson City, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. He was a native of Washington County, son of the late Frank Chase and Elizabeth Berry Snodgrass. Frank was a chemist for Great Lakes Chemical Company and a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and then he went back to college and acquired a second degree in social studies and then became manager of the Rainbow House in Johnson City for 18 years. In addition to his parents, a sister June Hall preceded him in death. Survivors include three sisters, Mary Lee Scalf of Johnson City, Jewell Andrews of Johnson City and Betty Edmonds of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews, hundreds of friends and a good friend and caretaker, Phillip Stanley. Mr. Snodgrass is to be cremated and there is no service scheduled at this time.
