Frank L. Kimbrough, 69, 110 Colorado Street, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 20, 2006 after an extended illness. Mr. Kimbrough was a native of Jefferson County, TN and had lived in Johnson City since 1965. He was a son of the late Lawrence Gus and Florence Sinard Kimbrough and was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Kimbrough and Curtis Kimbrough and an infant daughter, Tammy Kimbrough. Mr. Kimbrough was a US Army veteran. He operated Frank?s Barbershop for over 40 years. Mr. Kimbrough attended McKinley Memorial Bible Church and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Kimbrough is survived by his wife of twenty seven years, Nancy Bennett Kimbrough, one son, Gary Frank Kimbrough and his wife Rachel, Johnson City; six grandchildren, Landon, Amber, Allison, Jacob, Sarah and Hannah; one sister, Joan Ottinger, Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Kimbrough will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Lenny Smith will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 23, 2006 at McKinley Memorial Bible Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 PM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Walker, Bobby Sams, Jimmy Bennett, Larry Kelsey, Landon Kimbrough and Jacob Kimbrough. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
