Frederick John Wentworth

Frederick J. 'Fred'? Wentworth, 71, of Mountain City, TN, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Appalachian Christian Village in Johnson City. He was a native of Elizabeth, NJ, son of the late John and Ruth Sorge Wentworth. He spent most of his young life in Linden and Piscataway, NJ. Fred was a machinist in the tool and die industry. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Unicoi. In addition to his parents, his wife, Barbara Dering Wentworth, preceded him in death. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Tina Wentworth of Phillipsburg, NJ and Keith and Celia Wentworth of Mountain City, TN; two daughters, Kimberley Evelina of Garwood, NJ and Sharon Wentworth of Dunellen, NJ; two brothers, Melvin Wentworth of Texas and Alvin Wentworth of Florida; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wentworth is to be cremated and will be taken by his family to New Jersey to be buried with his wife.
