George Anderson Bailey

Mr. George Anderson Bailey, age 64, of Johnson City, passed away, Saturday, December 24, in the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Mr. Bailey was a native of Washington County. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Bailey, Sr. and Albertine Thornton Bailey. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, James Phillip Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include: one daughter, Jordan Stone of Kentucky; one sister, Judy Jones and her husband Bob of Knoxville; one brother, Robert Lee Bailey, Jr. of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service for Mr. George Anderson Bailey will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. The VA Chaplain will officiate. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM Wednesday.
