George L. Hoilman

George L. Hoilman, 87, formerly of 1005 Skyline Drive, Johnson City, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Bethesda Health Care Center, Cookeville, TN. Mr. Hoilman was a Bakersville, NC native and had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He was a son of the late John and Lillie Wilson Hoilman. Mr. Hoilman was preceded in death by his wife, Venice K. Hoilman and six sisters. He was a retired salesman for Pet Dairy. Mr. Hoilman was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Bill Hoilman, Cookeville, TN, Johnny Hoilman and his wife, Joan, Johnson City; one daughter, Jeannie Royston, Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Faye Robinson, Bakersville, NC and Clara Arrwood, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Kristi Brown, Michele Wilberscheid, Jeff Royston and Jennifer Fielden; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Hoilman will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Kenneth Gaskins will officiate. Graveside service will be held at 9 AM Thursday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family members. Members of the Seniors Mens Sunday School Class at Skyline Heights Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.The family will will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and at others times at the home of a son, Johnny Hoilman, 1005 Skyline Heights, Johnson City, TN.
