Gladys B. Mccampbell

Mrs. Gladys B. McCampbell, age 89, 5 Warrior Court, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. McCampbell was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late George W. Burleson and Etta Bailey Burleson. In addition to her parents her husband William E. McCampbell; two sisters, Pauline Miller and Rhea Galloway; one brother, Jack Burleson also preceded her in death. Mrs. McCampbell was a homemaker. She was a member of the Margaret McNesse Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Parolea York and her husband Don York of Johnson City and Elizabeth Ann Hill and her husband Arden Hill of Elizabethton; grandchild, Mark K. Hill and one great granddaughter, Catherine V. Hill both of Elizabethton. The graveside service for Mrs. Gladys B. McCampbell will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Bill Hyers will officiate. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM Friday.
