Grace Woodward

Grace Woodward, 75, formerly of 1805 E. 8th Avenue, Johnson City, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the Lakebridge Healthcare Center. She was a native of Ashe County, NC, daughter of the late Lester and Ruby Woodard. Grace was a homemaker. She was a member of the Unaka Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Survivors include: three brothers, Bill Woodard and Glenn Woodard both of Mt. City and Earl Woodard of Creston, NC; three sisters, Pauline Stowers and Bobbie Roten both of Ohio and Mary Jane Faircloth of Creston, NC. A funeral is scheduled for at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2006 in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will follow in the Mt. Home National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. .
