Helen Madeline Levasseur

Helen M. Levasseur, 77, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Robert J. Cowan, Jr. and Helen Carr Cowan. Helen was a secretary and ran the office for years for Levasseur Delivery Service and Magic Chef. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, her husband Joseph Felix Levasseur preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors include: her two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis and Diane Levasseur of Telford and Christopher and Dawn Levasseur of Downingtown, PA; eight grandchildren, Steven, Lisamarie, Louis, Jr., Melinda, Corey, Janine, Aubrey and Jordan; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Roman. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church under the direction of Father Peter Iorio at 11:00 a.m. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Helen will be interred in the Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia with her husband and parents at a later date.
