Ida H. Wilson

Ida H. Wilson, 93, Johnson City, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at NHC Healthcare, Johnson City. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a daughter of the late William and Ethel Summers Hilton. Mrs. Wilson attended King Springs Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving homemaker for her husband and four children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Buford S. Wilson, Sr.; son, Rex Allen; daughter, Serenia; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: two sons, Buford S. Wilson, Jr., and his wife Linda, of North Carolina, and Mel Wilson, Johnson City, several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Ida Wilson will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Washington County Memory Gardens. Rev. Mike Richards will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for those services by 1:50 pm Saturday.
