Jack Martin Pillow

Jack Martin Pillow, age 80 of Johnson City, Tennessee went to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 21, 2026 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Jack was born on May 14, 1946 in Washington D.C. to the late John and Anita Pillow.

Jack was a faithful Christian and a member of the Baptist faith. He could adapt to anyone or any situation, he had a big heart and loved to make people laugh. He also enjoyed cooking for others. Jack was a proud United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 9 years, Diana Thomas-Pillow, daughter, Tammy (Lee) Overmyer, son Christopher Pillow, and their mother, Ruth Pillow; step-sons, Rob (Shannon) Thomas and Jim Thomas; grandchildren, Edward (Crystal) Titus, Dustin Titus, Brittany Titus, Faith Bonneville, Grace Pillow, Jessica Askins, Madeline (Reece) Nichols, and Thomas Askins; great-grandchildren, Jade, Eddie, Ayden, Levi, and Nolan Titus, Serenity Dillon, and Melody Nichols; brother, Charles (Kathy) Pillow, sister, Vickie Lopez, brother, James (Karen) Pillow, as well as several nieces and nephews. Survivors also include devoted friends, Sally and Steve Price and James Gifford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Wounded Warrior Project.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at 1:00pm in the historic section of Mountain Home National Cemetery. All attending are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 12:50pm.
