Jack M Salyer

Jack M. Salyer, age 88 of Piney Flats, Tennessee passed away on September 10, 2026. He was born on October 7, 1937 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Walter and Nell Salyer.

Jack loved old cars, especially fords. Jack was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Walt Salyers, and sister, Loraine Furbee.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Leona R. Salyers, and son, Ken Brown.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:00am in Mountain Home National Cemetery. All attending are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 10:50am.
