James Brian Ackley, Jr.

James B. Ackley, Jr., 37, of 124 Diamond Point Road, Butler, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Moline, Illinois. James was graduate of West Virginia University and had worked as a chemical engineer for Hercules Propellants. He was a member of the Mount Herman Baptist Church in Danville, Virginia. Survivors include: his parents Jim and Irene Langley Ackley of Butler; an uncle, Edward Michael Ackley of Moorestown, New Jersey. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Johnson City, under the direction of Pastor Jim Nipper. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
