James Robert Cass

James R. Cass, 82, of 25 Crown Circle, Bristol, TN passed away Saturday, January 20, 2007 in the Veteran?s Affairs Medical Center in Johnson City. He was a native of Bristol, TN. Mr. Cass was a retired employee of Bristol Steel and Iron. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Aircorp, having served during W.W. II. Survivors include his wife, Kitty Tanksley Cass; one son, David F. Cass of Knoxville; one daughter, Lisa C. Kuhnert of Suwanee, GA; one brother, Joseph Donald Cass of Johnson City; four Grandchildren, Robin C. Cass, Lauren C. Hickey, Jonathan H. Kuhnert and Sarah N. Kuhnert; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday from Mountain Home National Cemetery. V. F. W. Post # 3382 of Kingsport will conduct Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Bristol Humane Society.
