It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jamie Renee Gourley, 46, who passed away peacefully after a long illness at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.

She was the daughter of Mary Ann Walker and the late James Gourley.

Jamie attended Science Hill High School and later earned her associate degree from Pellissippi State in 2014. Her deep compassion for others led her to pursue a career in nursing, and she went on to earn her LPN from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Elizabethton in 2021.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Sophia and Dean Atchley, whom she loved dearly; her mother, Mary Ann Walker; her brother, Marc Anthony Godsey; her special friend, Michael Lowery; and her beloved lifelong friends, Felicia Norris Gomez, Keri Stroble Jones, and Jessica Alford Haynes.

Jamie was an incredible mother, a devoted daughter, a loving sister, and a truly unforgettable friend. She was funny, loud, and always ready for a good time. Her magnetic personality stood out everywhere she went, and her beautiful spirit was something you felt the moment you met her. She lived fully, loved deeply, and brought so much joy to everyone around her.

Her wild and free-spirited soul will live forever in our hearts and minds. She will be missed more than words can ever express, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, our beautiful girl. We will miss you forever. 🤍
