Jeff Bourn

Jeff Bourn (61) passed from this life into the presence of Jesus on Sunday, May 24, 2026. In addition to his cherished role as husband to Brenda, Jeff cherished his roles as son to his parents and in-laws, Dad to his children and their spouses, Grandpa B, Papaw, and JJ to his grandchildren, and Coach to many, many people in TN and beyond.

Jeff enjoyed 39 years of marriage and adventures with his wife Brenda; raising three amazing children together along the way (Ethan, Diana, Silvia). Jeff was a graduate of Milligan College (*86) and UNC Chapel Hill (MBA, '92), and was a successful business man, coach, mentor, friend, and servant of Jesus Christ. Jeff humbly committed himself to the service of the church and his community wherever he lived - with his most favorite ministries focused on middle and high school student ministries, and then most recently young adult athletes at Milligan University over the past 10 years.

Jeff is survived by his wife Brenda, their children (Ethan and Brittany Bourn, Diana and Caleb Taylor, Silvia and Shane Bell), Jeff's parents (Joe and Marilyn Bourn), his sister (Rebecca and Dan Albers), and five beloved grandchildren (Joshua, Sophie, Nora, Bryson, and Cooper). Jeff was greatly loved by his wife and family and he will be greatly missed by them and so many others who were blessed to know Jeff on this side of Eternity.

Please join Brenda and the family for a Memorial Worship Service to be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, 4:00PM at Redeemer Community Church, 300 East Main Street Johnson City, TN 37601, (2nd Floor Venue at the King Center). The family will receive visitors starting at 3:00PM before the service.
