Jewell Flora Huffine

Jewell Flora Huffine, 94, of Jonesborough, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Lakebridge Health Care Center. She was a native of Washington County and had lived her all her life. She was a daughter of the late Remer G. and Bessie Zimmerman Huffine. Jewell was a retired employee of the Leon '? Ferenbach Company. She was a member of the Eden Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Manuel, Claude, Richard and Ernest Huffine. Jewell was a gentle, kind and loving person, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors include: a sister, Iliff Allen of Johnson City, two sisters-in-law, Edna Huffine of Kingsport and Elizabeth Huffine of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews; a special friend at Lakebridge, Valdine Baker. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monte Vista Memorial Park, under the direction of Pastor Jack Bradley.
