J.H. Southern

J.H. Southern, age 86, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 in the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. Mr. Southern was born in Columbia, Tennessee, a son of the late John Southern and Mary Ellen Harris Southern. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from construction as a foreman. Mr. Southern was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korea War. He is survived by one son, Terry Southern and wife Eloisa, of Johnson City, TN; one daughter, Debbie McClain and husband Jim, of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. J.H. Southern will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm at 448 Deer Pointe Drive, Lobelville, Tennessee, 37097.
