John Alexander Murray

John Alexander Murray, 69, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his residence. He is a Johnson City native and son of the late Agnes and John Murray. John served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. One brother, David Murray, precedes John in death. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 24 years, Helen L. Murray; one daughter, Donna K. Schreiber and her husband T.W. Smith; one grandson, Robert P. Schreiber; stepdaughters, Regina, Ellie, and Candice; one stepson, Corey; two brothers, Roddey Murray and Kenneth Murray; three brothers-in-law, Bill Brown, Jim Brown and John Brown; one sister-in-law, Shirley and her husband Toney Casey; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family of John Murray will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Family and friends will go in procession at 2:30 PM to Washington County Memory Gardens for a 3:00 PM graveside service.
