John David DeDecker

John David DeDecker age 60 of Talbott, Tennessee went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on a fishing trip in Oklahoma. He was born on March 22, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois to Jerry DeDecker and Patricia King.

John was a deputy sheriff in Hamblen County for 12 years before his retirement. He was a mechanic in his earlier years. John was proud to serve his country during the time of Desert Storm. After his retirement his job became participating in the Paralyzed Veterans of America fishing tournaments, but his greatest accomplishment was his daughters and granddaughter.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Megan DeDecker and Ashley DeDecker, granddaughter, Aurora DeDecker, mother of his daughters and friend, Emma DeDecker, brothers, Joseph DeDecker and George Evancho, aunt Debbie King, step-sisters, Marivic Cheung, Juvy Orcine, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
