John H. Webb, 79, 622 Lamont Street, Johnson City diedSunday, April 22, 2007 at his residence.Mr. Webb was a native of Mitchell County, North Carolinaand had lived in Johnson City for most of his life. He wasa son of the late Charles Curtis and Ida Mae Buchanan Webb.He was a retired employee of the Chair Factory. Mr. Webb is also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Rogers and several brothers. Mr.Webb was a member of Southside Baptist Church and loved his church family.Survivors include nieces and nephews. The funeral service for John H. Webb will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in the Chapel Mausoleum at Monte Vista Memorial Park.Rev. John Perkins will officiate.The visitation time will be at the Chapel Mausoleum from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
